Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands. 1 Thessalonians 4:11 NIV
No amount of money can increase God’s kingdom, but one man, whether he’s digging ditches or investing in stocks, can make the difference for the people he’s working with, one at a time, to build the eternal nation. When you are focused on living the life God has for you, “attending to your own business” takes on a fresh attitude, you’re minding God’s business.
In His view, to be faithful is to be successful.

I love this, thank you for sharing! So often we feel like we’re not “successful” if we don’t have a prestigious job or aren’t able to have a positive influence on a large number of people…but you’re right! When we focus on living out the calling that God has given us, we truly are making a difference for His kingdom.
